Me to We Style

Me to We Style is part of a family of organizations, including Free the Children, Me to We and We Day, that has a shared goal: to empower a generation to shift the world from ‘me’ to ‘we’—through how we act, how we give, the choices we make on what to buy and what to wear, the media we consume and the experiences with which we choose to engage.

As part of the 40th-anniversary collection of era tees, the Junos wanted to take a look back through Canada at some of the genres we all know and Love.

Junos 1980's era tee - "Eighties BOOM"
The Eighties were electric, bold and NEON!!! As the early stages of Hip hop were gaining momentum so too did its fashion and attitude.

Junos 2000's era tee - "Got Money To Burn"
Aiming to take a snapshot of the past decade I drew from the attitude of hipsters, used equalizer sound shapes as a cue to the digital age we live in and the high tops were the icing on the cake. Stylish kicks never go out of style.

Junos 1990's era tee - "D to the J"
The Nineties proved to be a wonderful collaboration with my studio partner Matthew Ward. We strove to capture the edgy almost grungy street feel present in dance, jungle, D&B and even hip hop as well.

The “All Access”
Created as a celebration of Canadian music, the collection was designed in collaboration with the Musicounts organization.
